The Birth of a Noble Estate
In the first half of the 16th century, while Venice dominates the Mediterranean, the mainland becomes the new symbol of noble prestige.
In the heart of the territory then known as Polesine di Loreo, Villa Anconetta is born: not a simple farmhouse but a residence of hunting and culture, an emblem of an elegance capable of uniting nature, power and humanistic vision.

Genius and Theatre
The genius of Giovanni Maria Falconetto, the master who inspired Palladio, defines new visions of space here, the Villa takes shape following Alvise Cornaro's ideal of "sober life".
It is architecture designed for beauty and culture: around 1550, these spaces become the favorite stage of the playwright Ruzante, who transforms the walls of the residence into living emotion and theater.

Preserved through the centuries by illustrious patrician families, the Villa survives the fall of Venice unscathed.
